Handset Service - $60 This includes: Inspection and test of all components on the handset including replacing the handset battery and membrane if required. If a replacement handset is required the cost of the service will be discounted from the price of a new handset.
Shipping It is your responsibility to send the handset in to us to be tested. Please include a printed version of your order confirmation inside the package.
My remote was getting glitchy with having to hit buttons multiple times to get the trolly to respond. My trolly is a few years old and it took me a while to find my original purchase information. I'm not sure what Stewart would have done if I couldn't have found it, but it worked out in the end. Had to pay $60 for the service package, plus another $15 for shipping. Emails from Elle, Carlie, and Heser were responsive and fairly timely. The keypad was replaced and they also sent a video showing the trolly working properly. It took about two weeks to get my remote back from the time I first contacted Stewart.

My X10 follow remote started acting up. Emailed support, purchased service and sent in the unit. They examined and emailed me it needed battery replacement.

Slow service, but good result in the End
I was disappointed that it took so long for Stewart to get this done. I was in contact with Stewart from the beginning, but the replies took days. And it was confusing. First, they said I needed to purchase a new remote. Then, they said, no, turn it in for service. I did and they ended up sending me a new remote anyway. The process took a whole month! The new one works great, however, and I am back in business.
